Today’s
sheet metal industry needs highly skilled and motivated workers. Through
our apprenticeship programs you will receive quality training and
limitless opportunities to advance. An apprentice learns through
classroom study and on-the-job training, working side by side with a
skilled Journeyman. This allows you to gain both practical experience as
well as the knowledge you need as you progress through the program.
There
are three apprentice training facilities in the Local 24 region: Dayton,

When you enter an apprenticeship, you agree to work in an on-the-job
training program and attend specialized classes for between four and

Qualifications
The qualifications vary by training location, but for most programs
you’ll need a high school or GED diploma. You must fill out an
